LITTLE WING GUY'S PROFILE

I may have little wings, but I have a big dick heart.

Hey there. I've been into game making since about 2008, but it wasn't until 2014 I was able to complete my first ever game! The game was started and finished in a single week for a contest. In one week I was able to do what I struggled with for 6 years. 6 WHOLE YEARS. HILARIOUS ISN'T IT.

Changing Status Menu Field Titles with Resource Hacker

This is a very helpful and easy to use tutorial!

Not to hi-jack it, but the same tool can also be used to change a variety of other things such as; desktop icon and Ex-Fonts. It's well worth playing around if you do want to go an extra step further.

How did you get a picture of me when I was 16?

Theia - The Crimson Eclipse

I am yet to play this game (I am saving it until a time where I can really sit and enjoy it) but I wanted to say a massive congratulations for being featured.

Everything I have seen and heard of this game has been wonderful. Completing and translating this game must have been tremendous effort. Well done.

Beta Testers Needed!

Is this a release of the 5+ hour full game, or just a demo?

RM Historia March 2019 Roundup

I meant to respond to this much, much sooner. I'm not always as vocal as I should be, but know that I am following this and I love it!

Keep up the hard work!

REFMAP Arranged/Categorized

Thank you so much for this, there's quite a lot of stuff here that I didn't even know existed. You're a lifesaver!

White Magic

I came onto RMN this morning and saw White Magic buzzing on the homepage (no idea how or why) but I realised I never gave an explanation for cancelling this game, and that I probably should.

To be honest, I thought I could cancel this quietly without anyone batting an eyelid, since then I got a bunch of comments and even a five star review (which I still can't believe) so I'm sorry to the people that were holding on to this game.

I'm about 95% complete with a much bigger and brazen RM2k3 project, and though I love RM2k3 - my other game is fulling pretty much everything I ever wanted to do with it. White Magic was started at a time where I thought I would never be able to make a big project, so I made it this as a compromise to myself. I guess you could say my heart wasn't in it, as I was always thinking of "the other project that could have been". I tried hard not to cancel this, but I don't think I can continue on, not in RM2k3 anyway.

I just want to give a final big thanks to everyone who followed this project and gave me support. It's you that made me realise I had more to give, and more I could achieve. My dream project is nearly finished thanks to the confidence you gave, but I'm sorry that I had to step over White Magic to do it.

Return of the Last Era

Phew, thank god this wasn't posted on April 1st! This has always been a hugely anticipated game for me, it's been in development for so long, and you haven't once given up which I have huge respect for.

so many of my skills in my rmvxa game were totally not working bc i wasn't using floats properly...

As someone who is too stubborn to move on from RM2k3 I have no idea what "floats" are.

Anyway, I thought you had left the site completely, I'm always happy to see an old face.

Old/Lost RpgMaker Games - SegNin's Rare/Obscure RM Games Request Topic

So basically I realize a lot of the games on the list barely have any coverage or descriptions. I started a project to address that, the goal is to give every game on the archive list some screenshots, a written impression and a 10-30ish minute youtube video. I've made this a fairly automated process, but I still need to make it a regular habit.

It's all condensed in a wordpress blog mainly, but the main goal is to document as much as I can so that they become more permanent to google and general web crawlers. We'll see how it goes.

This is amazing and deserves more recognition (aka a spotlight on the homepage next month) but this is the kind of nostalgia injection I love. Good luck, as it is a huge undertaking.

Sharing this community, and these old games gives me a lot of joy. Can't really explain it, but I feel some sort of weird kinship with people here just from sharing this RPG Maker culture together.
